RT: 14 presidential candidates are to fight for 628,454 voters

Dili - JND - At the closing date of presidential candidate at the Court of Appeal on Saturday (4/2), there are 14 presidential candidate registered to compete for the presidential election on March 17, 2012. These candidates were Taur Matan Ruak (Independent), Francisco Gomes (PLPA), Maria Angela Freitas (Trabalista), Angelita Pires (Independent), Rogerio Lobato (Independent), Lucas da Costa (Independent), Francisco Guterres Lu – Olo (FRETILIN), Jose Ramos Horta (Independent), Abilio Araujo (Independent), Fernando La Sama de Araujo (PD), Maria do Ceu (Independent), Manuel Tilman (KOTA), Jose Luis Guterres (FRENTI – MUDANÇA) and Francisco Xavier do Amaral (ASDT). The presidential candidates are to fight for 628,454 voters registered at STAE during the presidential election this year.
